Ok - I made a mistake and can I fix it?

Someone gave me a [supposedly] P233MMX to replace a P166 vanilla.

When I was installing it and using a razor blade to layer on some Artic Silver I dropped the blade and some of the stuff got on the rug and when I tried to wipe it up made it worse.

Sooo, to keep from hearing about it and my fooking computer <g>, does anyone know of a way to clean the stuff off of a rug?

Sometimes the silly stuff is important too.

Go down to the store and get some "Goo Gone" this stuff will clean-up about anything...including paint!

Thanks - I'll try it.
Searched for it and found a comment that it was available in Home Deport stores. There's one around here - hope they have it <g>

Most grocery stores, WalMart, etc carry it.

I hope it works!

While you're at the store, buy a lovely throw rug and bouquet of flowers. You know why. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

Carpet Science, yellow bottle.

Pure magic on grease stains, does NOT work on dirt though..

Whatever you use, finish up with clear, clean water. Otherwise you'll leave a film of solvent on the carpet & that spot will get real dirty, real fast.

I think Roy's got the best remedy - must of been-there - done-that would be my guess.

Didn't even get to get some stuff yet and it's been noticed <g>.

Try DryClean. You spray it on and wipe it up afterwards. Worked well in getting my little cousin's barf stain out of my car.
