For no good reason at all, when I opened a new IE window the standard buttons and the "File, Edit, View, etc.." bar have switched places and I can't figure out how to change them back. Neither one can be dragged. Any ideas how I can fix this? Thanks for any input.
Go up to View\Toolbars\Customize... and you should be able to arrange them any way you like.
That's only for customizing the layout of the standard buttons. I need to move the whole thing back to it's original location. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I sometimes have the same problem, though sometimes the toolbars disappear altogether and there is just a black bar with a 'flying window' in the middle.
Ususally fixes itself through reboot, but is a bit of a pain all the same.

Hi,
At the left of the bars at the top there is a "|".
When the mouse moves over it you get an arrow pointing each direction. Click when the mouse is like this and mov it up or down or across.

Jerry, I just had the same black bar for a few seconds there... Rebooting didn't fix the problem.
bkehoe, neither of these 2 bars can be dragged like the links or address bar can.
It's so unnatural having the standard buttons on the top like this...
bkehoe, you were right after all. I cuold drag it if I held on to the bar on the left. Thanks a million.
