Has something in the BIOS changed?
Can you start with the BootDisk?

I get no unusual beeps.
I have not changed any hardware, software, drivers, or any bios changes.
I just turned on the pc and nothing happened.
It is the harddisk, whether it is the harddisk itself or XP causing the failure, because I tried the harddrive in another pc.
I have no boot disk for xp.
I downloaded the bootdisk program from microsoft and made bootable disks, but when I try to run 1st disk I get a I/O error reading disk.
Any suggestions?
 :(

If you can get to the BIOS, try setting it to Defaults.
If you boot and still can't read the floppy drive I'd say it's the mobo.

I reformatted the harddrive on another pc, put it back in my pc and reloaded xp with no problems.
Thanks for all the help.
