Ok, get 2 Voodoo 2 2000s, link them, and perhapse up the ram to 128mb, and you have a killer system.

Some nice choices. So what are you going to use it for? The others here will be more able to answer your question if you have some stated goals.

I think these days, there's no need to get two vid cards, when there's so many good choices in 2d/3d cards such as voodoo3 and TNT's and TNT2's, or even Banshees...

Hi

SbLive Value is a fantactic card, as long as you have decent speakers to go with...
Hard disk: I am a IBM fan, they are the BEST !
Memory: 128Mb is a must
Motherboard: Asus is very reliable and stable, but why not go for the new P3B-F ?
Video card, depending on your budget, I would go for the G400 MAX... great card

I would consider more RAM as mentioned by others. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

I would definetly go with 128mb of RAM. 64 just really wont cut it for todays games. I would pass on the voodoo card and go for at least a TNT2. I like them better for hard core gaming. For example Unreal and Unreal tournament, Half life cstrike and stuff like that. I agree that the SBlive is a great card. Stan is right though when he says you need good speakers to go with. I disagree with stan on the HDD. IBM is just to expensive...while I'm sure they have a top quality product so does Fujitsu and theirs is a whole lot cheaper.
