my friend is trying to sell me a never been used, 3 years old matrox video card (don't know the model). It has 64 mb and all the video in and out for vid editing, AGP (don't know much version). 30 usd.
Anyone has it ? what you think?
You really need the model number to accurately determine the worth of the card. Although 30 dollars is not to bad for a card with 64 meg on it. Are you sure it has 64 meg? Maybe 16 meg?

I really don't think that matrox had a card with 64 mb 3 years ago , like gnh said , I'm pretty sure it's 16mb and if it is well I really don't know what you're gonna do with a card that slow with todays computer. IMHO

Matrox cards are generally for specialty functions, like multi monitor, graphics editings, etc. They are usually one of the most expensive video cards you could buy for a long time, I remember a few years ago they were in the range of $500 to $1000 for some of their card. Usually not good for gaming. so yes they could be 64mb on it.

it can't be 64meg...32 is max...hope that it's at least 16.. I have a Matrox card from around the same time period and it cost a lot then...it only has 16meg on it...I now use that card on a Win98SE system that is used as a small file server.
