Is anyone using this security program and if you are, do you find it effective at blocking intrusions, trojans, etc.?

Hey Killer, no http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif Even if it did, it would still be only a software solution.
I wish!
LD2000 prevents intrusions such as nukes, ICQ nukes, trojans and autotraces back to the source of attempted intrusion(s).
Here's a link to if you're interested: www.lockdown2000.com/ (http://www.lockdown2000.com/)
btw, they have great tech support.

I've been using it and so far, the only thing I've seen is the logging of my own connections to my proxy server. Nothing from outside has even attempted connecting!
Oh, BTW, P2's in notebooks have always had PSN's just like the P3's have.
It just doesn't matter, and I'll be damned if Im gonna use a slower POS cpu just because of it!

I just got this info from smokin1 and think it's relevant to this product. You might find it very interesting. I did. Note this is for an earlier version of LD2000.

I had cancelled my order today because their policy is to charge $49.99 for a "new computer" unlock code. Their definition of a new computer is a new motherboard. That's alot of $49.99 in my future!
Thanks smokin1 !
