Who made this file

I`m trying to find out what programs made certain files. In my msconfig.exe I have a file called msi216.exe that I uncheck to not load on startup (I have win98). It never used to be there but everytime I uncheck it to not load up the next time I reboot up there it is. I have gone into the registry into run and deleted the entry to this file. It still comes back. Also I have discovered a file called info.dll that my system won`t let me delete. There is no association with any program. I have no version selection box when I right click on properties to see what is making these files. All I have when I right click on properties on each file is a details box which only says when created and modified. They both lay in my windows/system directory. My system is working fine, I just want to know what program made these files. I haven`t installed anything recently so don`t know where these files came from. Any help greatly appreciated............Ray

Check HERE (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;q276283&) looks like you have a virus, update your av app and do a scan. You'll find more info on it if you type it into google.

The time I spend dawdling the thread is over and done with, different at the other place as I have plenty of to time to dawdle. Sort of like the pasture fields compared to sysopt.:)
