I built my system entirely for gamming. I have a question about memory though. I have two sticks of 16 chips pc133 and just purchased another stick, but this stick has only 8 chips on it. They all the same part number and specifications, but the only thing is my new stick has only 8 chips? Anyone see any problems or performance degrade? Is the 8 chip better than the 16? Should I return the 8 chip and get the one with 16 so all my modules are the same?

I believe the 16 chip sticks are 128 MB and the 8 chip stick is 64 MB

According to the responses, this should work fine.
Hmm. ... Same part number, same specs. Not likely different sizes. What's the problem? Have you tried them? Do they work? Does the system report the anticipated size?
FYI ~ as memory density increases, the same amount of storage can be accomplished in a smaller space.

I also have two sticks of 128MB memory. One stick has 16 chips on it. The other stick(hyundai) has 8 on it. Both give me 128MB or more, so Im not complaining. Both are also PC-133
