I've been getting what I think is know as the infinate loop problem with via chipsets and geforce cards. I'm not sure if this is when it started, but I recently got a cable modem and installed a network card. How much power does a network card use. I'm thinking it may be possible that I need a better power supply and thats why I keep getting random reboots, crash to desktops, etc. I get these mostly when playing games. I never recall having these problems prior to this. I just did a new XP install. I took out the network card and played some games for awhile, they still crashed to desktop but it took awhile longer to happen. Do I need a new power supply ( I was thinking Antec 430 true power) if I get one. I currently have a 320 watt power supply. I occationally get a device driver error from XP, could this also be because of not enough power to system. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My system:
AMD XP 2000
Windows XP Home Edition
Gainward 4200 128MB Vid Card
Maxtor 30 GB Hard Drive
Abit KT7A MB with latest BIOS
All drivers updated
Realtech Network card for cable modem
52X CD Drive
Audigy Gamer Sound Card
Generic Case with an Enermax 320 watt Power Supply

I don't see RAM mentioned. Maybe something there.

Power supply seems adequate.

I see now that this question is related to a previous post.
