(i know ive already mentioned this in another read,m but thought a newer title would be more suitable)

Im trying to encode a scratched and shot DVD to .avi before it gives up the ghost - ive encoded three times in Div x and the audio and file size is good but detail is shot

Which settign shoudl i use for a sub 700mb, but good quality 2.5hr avi, using DVDx, and the DivX 5.0 codec??

USE SVCD settings

don't change anything

and it'll come out Nice

OH!! make sure your Input Frame Rate is the Same as the Out Put

so also match PAL to PAL and NTSC to NTSC signal

variable bitrate settign should i have the codec set to??
