Where can i register a Domain name so I can Start Creating my personal Web site on the internet.
I tried Some sites like networksolutions.com and I want to register a .com but I don't know if thats the best price (60$) + 30$ per email.
I plan to have 3 email addresses and a small web page that I will host either on Tripod or somewhere else. Is this a good price.
I just want the name so I can have my own little personal website non-commercial.
Any suggestions on price?
Thanks

If you just want to setup a small site, then why not go for a simple free redirect service. For example, I have sites hosted at a variety of free hosting services, such as Tripod, Angelfire, Geocities, etc. I then use a free go.to address to redirect to the sites. Considering most of my sites are now outdated, and that none were real full-time interests, why bother paying for a domain name?
For example, check out this site I never got around to finishing, or ever really starting for that fact. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

Why don't you try www.amhosting.com (http://www.amhosting.com) or www.readyhosting.com. (http://www.readyhosting.com.)
They have great hosting-prices and offer one free .com registration.
Otherwise I would recommend domainmonger.com to register your domains.
I haven't tried them but they have great prices is easyhosting to register your domain.
I back http://www.readyhosting.com every chance I get. If you were thinking about spending the $90 with Network Solutions, you may as well just go with Readyhosting's $99/yr plan: http://www.readyhosting.com/hosting/hosting.html
You get more web language support if you need it (ASP/CF/CGI/Perl/SQL Server/etc.) and they also renew your domain name registration for you every year you're with them.

I went to www.godaddy.com (http://www.godaddy.com) , it cost me $37 for 5 years for my domain name. Hosting is extra or you can have it hosted elsewhere.
