This new system info app called AIDA32 is fairly informative about bios settings, easy to get your os product key, easy to find your chipset #'s north and southbridges since I'm always forgetting which southbridge I have, amt. of transistors in cpu.
http://www.aida32.hu/aida32.php
And the usual info, easy to read, get it while its free.

I don't have sisoft sandra or belarc advisor on my system to compare specifically what bios and mobo info they have, if somebody does I'd be interested how they compare rather than d/l them for the umpteenth time, never got around to putting them into my XP install.
Compared it to freshdiagnose and there motherboard info was lacking, plus its easier to spot the agp version in aida which I didn't find in freshdiagnose.

Thanks Bill, I like the quick report although I feel a little cheated cause you got your msi bios version 1.0 and my shuttle reported 6.00 which should be 1.1 I believe although that could be just what they gathered thinking msi being more popular than shuttle.
Aida gives more about whats enabled in bios so it seems plus I like when you hover over a part you get a working link to the manuf. site rite off the bat, not a bad info app all in all.

Oh yeah - it beats Sandra by miles, much less Belarc.

Man, you did a great job! You trumped Sandra, Belarc and MSINFO32 in one fell swoop. Really nice job - it's nice to know that much about my memory.
Hey - I'd love to have your (M)HTML printer!

fiery welcome to Sysopt!
Thanks for the app, I was using freshdiagnose of late and just uninstalled it because of yours.
If you can pull any more info off the bios I'll take all I can get I certainly don't remember whats enabled in there but I was surprised when I tried yours and saw that info which is what prompted me to post it up here at sysopt.

Great little app.
I used it on Friday to document two new systems, very thorough and no footprint in windows.

Way to go rangeral!
This utility is much faster and more straightforward than SANDRA. It also gives more info.
