SiS mainboard buyers please read

Here's an interesting and disturbing news blip for those of us who build OEM systems with the ECS K7S5A:

What does this mean? I don't know about y'all, but I'm stocking up/hoarding K7S5As! I'd recommend the same for those VARs and OEMs who frequent this forum. Hey - they're only about $55 each.

SiS themselves say that the chipsets that currently ship to the US, raw or on mainboard product, aren't affected by the ruling anyway. Don't get hectic.

No - but I don't like MX cards. I wouldn't be surprised if there were an issue because the MX cards give me a problem on just about every system. They stink.

is it true that MX-based GeForce video cards causes problems?i was just wondering. my friend told me about the bugs it has that's why he bought GTS before.

MX cards cause problems in the sense that THEY SUCK. waste of money. Go for a Ti card or something! :D
