New version of Sandra 2001

New version of SiSoft Sandra 2001 - ver. 7.50 released today. Can get it at www.winsite.com/win95/sysutil/ (http://www.winsite.com/win95/sysutil/) - the site is slow, but most of the usual software sites don't have the 7.50 version, yet.

This new version has a rather neat feature when benchmaking. It allows you to choose among a menu of comparable systems rather than being limited to preselected comparables.

For example, when benchmarking your CPU you can compare it to a wide variety of CPU's from both Intel and AMD at speeds from 486DX2 66MHz to a P4 1.6gMHz. The memory benchmark comparables cover an equally wide range of chipsets LX, BX, 815, 820, 850 and various VIA chipssets. Cool feature.

A goog thing too! My winchip was going to fry itself because it had such low self esteem from always being compared to a 1ghz Athlon and P3!
