MOHAA clan questions

First, whats your take on clans in general.
How many here belong to one and participate?
My son recently was trying to get involved and it seems he must reinstall the game without the mp 1.11 patch to participate on GameSpy. Otherwise he could'nt enter the server. Why?

i personally hate to join any clan, guild, etc, on any games

i rather be regarded as mercenary

personally I think clans are fun, they give you a way to make friends that you can stick around with quite a bit online, i could care less if we fought in clan wars and all that good stuff, its just nice to have a bunch of friends to play with a lot and talk to a lot

clans are fantastic. especially on teamplaying games such as DoD, you can own any public server in a clan, you have teamwork, friends, and laughter.
