A client of mine told me that he was moving the kid's computers around to their rooms and that he wasn't going to need this old Acer. So he just gave it to me.
I was looking at it, and I think that it's something nice to run SETI on :)
lmao, so old, it' a Pentium :)
I was able to get the info, and here it is.

You need better clients..
My clients are dishing me PC's (currently ive got about 7 now)
which are ranging from PII 233mhz / 64MB right up to AMD Athalon 600mhz / 128MB.
Mind you though, they are mostly running Duron 1.1 or 1.2ghz /256MB as they're slowest machine.

well, this one is being used for testing.
I'm going to bring up the mem to 128mb. And I can dish this one out for just plain old fun.
New clients? oh BS, I'm not letting go on good clients.
if you think that an old pc is not good enough for you, then you don't know that places like Neiman Marcus still use 486's under those desks to take orders on, and they are ideal to play old dos games (i'm a dos gamer :) ) And to fool around with it.

I have an old acer 133mhz and a gateway 2000 300mhz sitting here in my room that would be perfect for seti, but i only have one spare hard drive and I can't get neither of them to turn on:rolleyes:
