jedi knight 2 multiplayer problem

hi there
i got jedi knight 2 from a freind
well i installed game and installed the latest patch (1.04)
i started gamespy aracade and i went in a server
ok now i tried to play not over gs
so i went in the jedi knigh 2 multiplayer menu
then it said
getting info for servers...........
i wiated 1 min and still there werent any servers
why????
do i need the 1.04 DEDICTAED SERVER PATCH too?

please help

When you get it up and running, post it here and we'll have a match :).

ahm one more question
i cant be botherd to play till the jedi tmeple and then to learn all the forces
how u use forces
in multiplayer i always pressed F6 and then f to use grip but ntohing happend
and also in single player how can i use cheats
they said in game i have to press ~ or so
well i pressedthe # ke nothing happend
then i pressed the key under the esc key whish is console for mohaa and qyalke and jedi uses quake engine but ntohing happend
pleas tell me how u use force power and what each force power does

I just hope you're not lured to the dark side and use grip and lightning like all the other moochers I know. That pisses me off.

ahm just one more question
how the .... do i open the console now
i press the key under esp and nothing happens
thats the same button the mohaa console opend and it should be same caus its quake engline
what do i have to do to open console
i have english keyboard
do i have to write soemthing in the tarket like in mohaa to open
like get in properties and then wrtie soemthing behind target
in mohaa it was set do cheats 1 or so

Try doing a SHIFT + Tilde (~) key. That might do it. I'm not at home right now, but when I do I'll check. I've done it so many times that I don't think anymore and being I play a few different FPS its all a blur. But, give that one a try and see.

i dont go on Force servers, it is a cheap way of getting kills.. i just go on Duel Servers with low force.
