Is there any way to view the directory structure on a website, similiar to when you make a website, an ftp server, or your home computer? To see all of the links and areas you can go, if you understand what I mean.

There is a program out there (trial available) called Linkbot that will do that and a lot more for you...

Also I've seen NetObjects Fusion do the a directory structure scan of already-online websites as well.

There was once also a programm called ....webspider or something...I have it somewhere......not finding it.....

You just typed in a website and it went off and copied everything from that website to you hd as it was on the server.
I only tried it once but it worked then (was some crappy annoying website at spy.org or spy.com or something like that, there was only one link at when you clicked it ... you always went back to the first page)

Make sure you use Visio v.5c, which is with the version C update for Windows 2000 if using the latter.

Yeah, I think there are loads of programs designed to downloading entire web-sites. WebSpider was one of them. Used it on howstuffworks.com =)
