I have cable, @home just finished upgrading equipment in my area. Unfortunately I don't get that speed all the time...thought my nic was going to melt, lol

I maxed out at 360 with an average of about 260 on the 3Dmark DL from download.com. 'Course I am at school. I'd love to catch those speeds at home. I am lucky to drop my meager 56K (26.4) when I am home =(

Please refresh my mind: how do you lift those download boxes, etc and copy them elsewhere???

hold down the "shift" key and press "print screen", then paste in to a graphics program...like paint brush, if you have something like acdsee you can convert the file format to gif or jpeg, etc...

Click on ur download box, press Alt+PrtScr - this copies the grabbed image of the d/l box onto the clipboard, then open up an image editing app & import. You'll have to post to ur website or free picture hosting sire then you can link & display the pic in the BBS thread.

Grrrrr! Some of those connection speeds make the T? LAN connection @ work look slow (max was about 550 KB/s and as for the modem @ home.... http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif Gimme cable now!!!!

@HOME must have upgraded their equipment in my area too! I downloaded 3dmark2001 last night and got about 300KBytes/sec. This easily beat my previous fastest dl of 200KB/sec. WOOO HOOO!
