AlZip 4.8 is a great Compression Utility. It will decompress or compress any format imaginable. All you have to do is double click on the first archive file and the rest will automatically decompress in order that's in the same folder. You can also right click on a file that you want to compress and select options such as "make Alzip.exe (Self-extracting file).
Say goodbye to Winzip, WinRAR, WinACE, and all that **** you have installed on your system!

Here are the formats that it supports:

ACE, ARC, ARJ, BH, CAB, ENC, GZ, HA, JAR, LHA, LZH, PAK, RAR, TAR, TGZ, UUENCODE, XXE, Z, ZIP, ZOO, ICE.....

Another nice little free program that does most of the file types and a couple more is PowerArchiver. It can be found at: http://powerarchiver.efront.com/

I recently discovered PowerArchiver as well... there goes shareware WinAce... into the recycle bin.

AlZip is very interesting archiver but Winzip is 200% faster, and Winace have better compression algoritm
Any way it was nice to see other archiver for now i will stay with winzip and winace

Hmmmmm.... Really? I noticed no significant difference in compression and decompression speed. And besides, I don't like to have a program for each different type of compressed file.... The reason I like AlZip is because that single program will decompress all.

what about winrar? I think it does all of it? quick and fast, la la la....
