I currently own a couple of domain names but I am very unhappy with my registrar (the company the domain names are registered with. Like Network Solutions)
And they charge my a very high price (50$ annual fee for .com / .net / .org)

Now I'm searching for a new and better (and cheaper) registrar.
I came across www.easyhosting.com (http://www.easyhosting.com) but when I tried to transfer my domains trough their online formular they gave my all kinds of **** and error messages (not to mention that their server was sooooooooooooooo slooooow...).
And their customer service takes days or weeks to answer.
Now I'm not so sure if I wanna transfer my domains to them.

Does anyone know any other reasonably priced and good registrars?
The avarage price seems to be 25$ US per year but easyhosting wants only ~13$ US (=19.95$ Can.). Something in that pricerange would be great.

Ohh and not to forget! Of course I want the domains to belong to ME not the registrar!

Try out http://registrar.godaddy.com/ I just got my domain with them last week. 8.95/year for registration. They don't supply any fancy hosting services, but they will let you set your "Name Server" to wherever your page is hosted. Just got my page with them this week so I really don't have A LOT of experience with them, but they seem OK so far.

My page: www.hughespc.com (http://www.hughespc.com)
hosted on my local ISP account: http://www.frii.com/~gphughes
and Redirected using www.zoneedit.com (http://www.zoneedit.com) to my domain name.

Works OK so far...

Well I looked at them and their website was a little confusing...
I think I will fax my transfer papers to easyhosting tomorrow. The price difference is small and although their online form is slow and buggy they seem to be not to bad. (I hope so).
If there are problems I will change to godaddy...

Sounds good.... I don't think there are anymore hidden costs, unless of course you want yor domain hosted with them. Otherwise the 8.95 is scrictly for registration with Inernic

Sorry for the delay....

I highly recommend www.domainmonger.com. (http://www.domainmonger.com.) They are $17/year (slightly less for longer-term), and they always have good service. Domain management is also easy (but don't forget that password because it may take quite a while for them to manually send it to you (on the order of a day or more).

I looked at domainmongers and they really made a very good impression on me.
Although they are a little more expensive then the others I'm considering moving my domains to them.
I wrote their customer support yesterday and had a reply today... it takes the others up to a week to reply!

I just couldn't find out from their website if the domains registered with them REALLY belong to me and are in MY name.
