I have a Mitsumi CR-2801TE CD writer and i have been trying to copy albums to take away on holiday with me. I also like to mix my own tracks together but when i come to copy/create cd's there is a split second gap between tracks. I have WinOnCD 3.7, Nero 5 and CloneCD 2.8 and i can't find any tool that removes the gap. Is there any way to remove teh gap inbetween the tracks as this really annoys me.

Any sugestions?

I believe that gap is always there when creating your own cd with multi tracks. I think the only way around it is to edit/mix your tracks together so they are a single file. Then burn that file to cd as one track. Of course then CD players won't be able to distinguish between the songs.

I don't know with the other applications (though they too probably have it somewhere) but feurio has this little checkbox where you can enable and disable this gap!

Variable, I downloaded the demo version of feurio and it looks quite promising. I want to burn a CD and in one case I need for two songs to play as one. I see how this might be done by putting music after index-0; is this what you were referring to? Dave.

If you record using the disc-at-once method, it will not put the 2 second gap. I've done this using both Adaptec and MP3 wizard. I love making the crossfaded mixes. It blends quite nicely.
