I've a question, I run a memory utilities who is monitoring my memory usage.
Cachemen is the program I use.
Now is my question, why is the memory only 100 MB at start up(total memory is 256MB), does windows use that much memory?
What can I do to prefent windows of using that much memory because when I open some programs like icq the system is slowing down and finally freezes:-(

Sounds like you have some problems with your system if it is freezing on oyu. I would suggest getting rid of as many apps as you can that run at startup. Startup Cop from www.download.com (http://www.download.com) is a great app for this.
Good luck

Or >Run msconfig >Startup and uncheck things you don't want in the background.
