Hi everyone!!
Sometimes, not always, when I click on ms outlook to check my e-mail, from desktop, the pc just turns off by itself!! :confused:
Sometimes, also, while browsing, if I go to msn web page to check my e-mail, the same thing happens!!
Does anybody knows what's going on???:confused: and, can be fixed??

Try reloading your motherboard drivers and or modem, possibly the modem is going bad causing the power supply to shut down or a bad power supply not being able to handle the draw in power once it gets warm.

rangeral's right - my bet is it's your modem, and if it's an older system and you're using a winmodem that could be the problem

make sure it's seated properly, if the problem continues swap it out with another and see if the problem goes away

Does it happen at any other times or only when starting Outlook and/or checking MSN mail.

Outlook or Outlook Express?

When you are checking MSN Mail, are you doing it with your browser or with Outlook/Outlook Express??

What OS are you using?

I take it it happens as soon as you click on a desktop shortcut?
