Bought a Belkin 650va for $74.44 shipped at www.tigerderect.com after $20 rebate it is $55.00, Best deal I could find new with the most battery power 35min.)-| :D

The rebate looks like a tiger direct exclusive rebate and I have dealt with tigerdirect before and they are not bad, Tiger is shipping on sat. This Berkin 650va model is sold out most places and retails for $99.00 on Berkins web site and it has four battery slots, four surge slots and telephone in line that goes out to two phones- this is really good deal for the money. At $55 after rebate I doubt you can match this deal anywhere.:r

The only update, I would do, is add more memory. Replaceing the two 256mb 2100 and 2700 memory with 512mb sticks- don't know right now if more memory is really needed on my kg7R with two quantums as 7200 at raid zero and a third drive maxtor 7200 for backup. My computer is running too good to touch, running windows pro xp and xp 1500. Yankees losing.:cool: :p

I don't know about the Berkin, but the Belkin 650VA UPS would last about 10 minutes as long as the monitor is not connected to it.

I think the berkin is supposed to put out 360 watts for 35min. I only need a few mins of backup- I guess , I will find out when I use it.:x

I think you got my deal beat comes too $55 shipped same as my deal after rebate but power max has a bit more power and has avr power conditioner- a expensive option-plus not rebate to bother with- My deal has one thing in its favor 3year war-if you lose power all the time these thing s will die like a used car battery- one year war is not enoth- but One would have bought the power max instead. Why tell me now?::(
