I have just bought a secondhand soundblaster live Value (CT4670) and need to get a copy of the original drivers and a copy of playcenter and the other software on the original install disk.

the only problem is that Creative Labs only have upgrades on their site

I have also tried Driverguide.com but they send me to Creative Labs site.

Can any one help me in the search for this driver.

Thanks for your time.

You can use anyone's Live! CD. Copy it to your HDD. Better yet, contact them:

Thanks ALL Gamer & Bipolar Bill

I have already been to Creative Help center and made a request but have waited for 3 days for a reply.
I was hoping that someone out there might have a copy of the drivers and software and be willing to send me a copy via E-mail

I may be just being impatient but if i have hardware i like to have the software to use it.

Thanks for your time

Haggis :)

Sorry forgot to say that all the files on these sites are updates only and are of no help if you do not have the earlier versionsof the software and drivers

These files are huge. No email system I know of will handle them. You need the CD or to have someone FTP/PM them to you.

What kills me is that I can buy a new SB Live for $25 US with the CD included.

1) Creative sells full CD-set for just $1

2) All (almost) upgrades are really full sets.

3) Try these files:

Thanks OldGoper That is what i was looking for.

I don't know why you can't just download it from Creative but hey what can you do,I found out a long time ago after seeing this pic that i have posted below that nothing to do with computers would be real easy.

Thanks also for hoping Strawbs but i am using a 56K modem :(

Thanks all for your time and help.

i have downloaded drivers for my sb live value! and sb pci 128 from www.soundblaster.com-->drivers. the only thing is that i went through asian region because the other regions had a queue of 250 ppl...and they have the software coming with the card.
