Hi all, I need to know how to get more treble from my soundcard. I have tried the usual configs, but I must be doing something wrong, because when i am on voice (using MSN) and stereo headphones the tone is far too bassy. Surely there must be a way of increasing treble on this otherwise great sounding card.
Thanks..................John
Welcome to SysOpt ! :)
What's your OS ? Did you try updating with latest drivers ? Maybe a reference ones ?

All Your Base are belong to us! (http://www.planettribes.com/allyourbase/AYB2.swf) :p
If you double-click the speaker icon in the tasktray, you should get the volume controls and may have an Advanced button. Look there.

Thanks for the reply, yes i looked in the Advance section and they are grayed out, so I cant use them. The TREBLE and BASE are both there but I cant seem to use them. Any suggestions please.

All I can suggest is to update your drivers. Although WinAmp has an equalizer, it only works for music - not games and system sounds.

Thanks Bill, not too interested in Games but I would like to get a better sound through my headphones when i am in communication with someone, so i will have to look for some better drivers, got any idea where I can start to look. Sorry about being a bit vague but my knowledge on drivers and sound cards is very limited. Cheers.......John
