When I click on properties, I have the same info that a correctly operating icon has but when I click on mine it get the "Open With" box rather than being taken to the file. My icon is not in the icon library... RayH 03-08-2001, 06:47 AM The icon itself can be in any folder. I have various icons strewn about in different folders. But for the folder for which you want to use the icon, in that folder click on the properties and change icon. Then select your icon and apply.
