Hi! Has anyone seen this weird problem with an ISIS Maxi Studio?
When I record anything, say in Cooledit, and then play it back the sampling rate does not match. It is detuned. No matter what I do - changing the sampling clocks in the Console 8/4 app - it does not help.
Even a simple and cheap sound card does not have this behavior....
Anyone please?
Welcome to SysOpt ! :)
Never heard of this card, but can I suggest on drivers' upgrade ? And what about overall system specs ?

The sound card is actually the ex-famous
GUILLEMOT MAXI STUDIO ISIS
and they are sort of discontinued now
the latest drivers i found was only for Win95/98 and they were only in french
so i thought i wont bother posting them here
the english site is not even working now, is kinda dead

I checked the Guillemot web site and got a link to UK guillemot. There I found drivers for this card.
Go here:
http://uk.guillemot.com/brand/ind-telech.html
Select Audio, select Maxi Studio ISIS. They only have Win9x/ME drivers, no NT/2000/XP.

Ok guys, thanks to all.
I got it working now. This strange fenomena happens when I select the Maestro Output (the 'normal' soundcard) but the ISIS input (the DSP card). By selecting the ISIS output it works fine.
A bit weird though...
The card quality is good, much better than my previous regular sound card. The ISIS might not be state of the art, but it works well with Cakewalk, so that's all I need.
Glad you sorted it out :)
