Randy:

I use Dragon Naturally Speaking almost daily on a PIII system with lots of memory. The key is anunciation and proper microphone placement. Reviews give very good reviews of the IBM version of VR (voice recognition) software, and the price is much less. I think it's ViaVoice. Good luck!

PS: Perform a Search on this forum, i.e., "Naturally Speaking" or "Dragon", as this topic has been discussed in depth before around 3-4 months ago.

I am donating a computer to a disable vet, he is totally paralized. I need recommendations for voice regcontion software, things that will allow him to switch between programs, write letters, etc. I am totally lost on this! I tried Dragon, Philips, etc years ago when they were just coming out and didn't work very well. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks
Randy
