If you are running win2k using the NTFS files system, then normally if you have win98 installed as dual boot you do not have full access to your win 98 files as they are on a FAT32 or FAT16 file system. I found this program which allows you to have full access to the win98 files and the ability to alter them whilst in win2k. I didnt think this was possible.

Here is the link if you want to have a look, unfortunately the program is not free.

There is also a similar system that works the other way allowing you to view and alter your NTFS files on a win98 system.

Correction:

Win2K can access FAT16, FAT32, NTFS, and NTFS5....It's NT4 that cannot access FAT32.... http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif NT4 can only access FAT16 and NTFS.

A program that lets 98 access and alter NTFS? Wow, that is interesting. How about the Sharing issue? Do you have to adjust your security in W2k to allow this?
