Sometimes I think I overthink the obvious. Does someone know if this (http://support.gateway.com/support/detailedinfo.asp?sn=0006674276) board uses regular SDRAM like PC66??? Thanks for the help.

Keep in mind however that the chipset used on that board, the i430 series, will only cache a total of 64mb. If you try to install more than that, the system will slow to a crawl. cableguy69 09-30-2002, 11:57 AM Thanks for your help guys. It's a Gateway 2000, P166. deadkenny 09-30-2002, 09:44 PM Originally posted by BigBlue66 Yes it will. Actually that's true of the 430VX chipset, but there are other versions (e.g. 430HX) that can handle more than 64MB without a problem. SysOpt.com
