i got this problem . my brother and i like to play gta 3 all the time but we only have one cd and 2 computer. i have try to burn it but i cant figure out how to burn a raw copy. i have nero 5.5 and clone cd and it doesnt work.

I think you can start it up and get it going on one system, then turn off the in game sound and run it without the cd, as long as you don't restart it. Most of the games ive tried only use the cd when starting, and when sound is on. So I can start it with the cd in then take it out, running it with no sound
Next time ask if it's possible to run it on both computers instead of suggesting something illeagle, you can get you're thread closed real fast doing that :)

yeah but u r allow to make a back up copy so if something happens u have a back up
i was just trying to do it legally

In order for this to be legal you need to own 2 disks. Not 1. No help can be given!

If something does happen you can take it back to the store where you buought it from and they will give you a new CD. Just have the reciept and proof of purchase. It cost the store nothing for them to replace the disc. :t

darn, a year or 2 ago I lost my mechwarrior 4 becuase it cracked. Too bad I didn't keep reciept :confused:

i have done it! use a program called clonyxxl!!!! it works with clone cd!
oh and u need a decent cd burner!!!!
cant give u links etc etc!
for backup only!
