I am currently typing this message on a Emachine 300K running Windows ME & a AMD K6-2 500 Mhz. The settings are as follows J15=2&3 2.5 Voltage 100Mhz 5.0X J14=1&2 . I had to set the chip voltage to 2.5 rather than 2.0 volts or else the system ran unstable. It runs a little warm but it dont lock up at all & is running Diablo 2 like a dream with the onboard AGP. It was also running sluggish so in the BIOS I set the PCI Latency Timer to 64. This thing screems !! I was also encountering USB mouse problems wich I was able to correct by installing a ad on USB card with two ports, im still using the other two ports also for scanner & pluggin in our digital camera. I am running a Maxtor 5400 10Gig hard drive with 256 Megs of PC-100 RAM in the form of two 128 DIMM strips. I had to set the DRAM speed on J16=1&2 & J17=3&4. I also installed a TV-Go card & that also was successfull. Modem is an external UsRobotics 56K V90. I want to also point out a fact of what the III stands for if you look on the motherboard at the square chip right above the BIOS chip you should find a sticker that says Version 1.11 . As for a updated BIOS I am still looking. If anyone has a newer bios please drop me a line !! It would sure be nice to put a cranking BIOS in this thing to.:r
