Opening Files

I tried to open a file when the box popped up giving me a choice of programs to open it with I picked the wrong one, I also forgot to untick the box (always use this programme to open this file). Every time I try to open this file it uses the wrong programme, I know there is a way to correct this but I cannot remember what it is. Can anyone help?

Select that file with a single click, then hold down <shift> while right clicking it. Select "open with".

Fingers way is one way but so you don't have to do that everytime there's a more permanent resolution. Just open a window, go to view>Folder options>now click the "file types" tab. Just remove the extension from the list and it'll always give you the openwith option.
