Somethings Gotten Freaky With my Email

OK,,, no Trojan, (the pass word stealing kind) no mas... Yet I am now getting 5 to 10 returned mail address unknown every time I use it. As though,,, hey could someone be using me to send out bulk mail? http://www.sysopt.com/forum/redface.gif

I think the only way that they could do this is by a trojan. Maybe whatever scanner you are using missed one? Are you sending out emails everytime...or is this just something that happens no matter what? Are the emails anyone you know?

I use pegasus, for my email, I dont see any going out. It has been going on since the trojan adventure I had last week. I can't find the thread, must have been lost. Anyway I am running The Cleaner, and Zone Alarm now. What other precautions can I take?

Perhaps you should try scanning again with another Trojan scan utility. A popular underground Trojan scan freeware package is TFAK. Here is the download link:

You know with the average computer user (entertainment/correspondence) how in the world do they ever figure out that they have these things, it's disgusting to think what the average hard drive must be like.. Or is my vision of worms in freshly spaded earth too imaginative?

OH your right,, I have been remiss,,, one problem tho if I only opend email from people I know,, http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif I won't get to open any... I have no excuse except being lazy,, and cocky,,, I have never gotten a virus over the net before,, and this is so weird the way it unfolded.. I think maybe I'll just use an old computer as a filter,,, hahaha hmmmm.
