I have the JetPanel front bay USB adapter. The instructions state
it is very important not to plug it in backwards.
The instructions state there is a mark by the 5v pin.
The diagram looks like this (top down view):
(6) (10)
O O O O O
O O O O O
(1) (5) and says pin 1 has a mark on it.
The plug does have a small sticker that follows the above layout,
but the pin 10 position is circular and all the others are square.
The USB2 layout on the mobo looks like this (top down view)
- O O O O
O O O O O
USB2 (stamped on the mobo)
There is no pin where the - is (corresponds with pin 6).
There's no way to line up the circular hole on the plug with the
empty pin position. The plug doesn't seem to fit either way
I try attaching it. Is this just not compatible?
The mobo manual doesn't state where pin1 is and it
doesn't seem to be indicated on the board either.
thanks
