i know this is maybe for COMPUTER GAMES and not all final fantasy games are for pc but still i wanna ask what u guys think of final fantasy
i mean like not only final fantasy 10 also the older ones
i have ffx and i have to say i LOVE THE game
u can do so many things
so many monsters
and u play for ages
ff 7 was still the best from them all
i even think ff 7 is the best game i have ever played and i player ALOT OF GAMES :D
i can still remember that time when ff 7 came out :)
i played ages on the game
sometimes 5 hours per day
the sotry was amazing i thought i would be like in the game
when i finally finished the game after some months the whole game took me over 60 or 70 hours
maybe even more i cant remember

the only final fantasy i like is Final Fantasy 1 for nintendo. Ahh the memories... must have beat that game 100 times....

The reason i dont like is I despise turn based games where enemies randomly appear. Seems silly to me. In direct comparison I think Chrono Trigger was a much more fair and balanced and fun game as you could see the enemies, and Fallout where its turn based but the enemies are visable and you can avoid if you want.

Also it seems as the series progressed it got more and more rediculous, the weapons, the clothing, the hairdos, the enemies and their 600,000 hit points.

The only thing that i admit is really badass about the last few are the animated cut scenes, great 3D work.

I really enjoyed ff7. It was one of those games that I just got into the groove of (which is not all that many). I couldn't tell you all I went through just to get that black chocobo:D It was all just plain vanilla fun. I tend to like RPG's and I know it's not really, but I loved it's not so brain tasking nature.

I loved ff8 the most. I think its the soppy japanese anime storyline that does it. Along with some inventive creature design. It's just so **** addictive!

FF7 and FF8 are the ones i like the most so far

FF7 for the real game play

FF8 for the nice Graphics

black choocoboo? :eek: I went through hell and time to get that black one, ofcourse once u get the gold one, just mate it with the wonderfull chobobo (hey, they should have named them this way, maybe more girls would play this game! :D Anyways, of 100% of choboos i encountered, only 5% where the ones i needed (wonderfull) and only 1% of what type of sex i needed, i had whole bunch of dumb females, and kept getting them. Had to restart the game and go back few times. Anyways, ff9 was dumb as hell, for little kids. Ff8 was weird, but cool. Very nice graphics, ff10 was soo different from all the other ones, that i didnt feel like playing. As more and more ff games come out, they will be WAY different from the way the ff1 was designed and the 'purpose' it surved. Ff10 sits in my closet, ff8 is still packaged, ff7 just finished last week, and ff9, oh yea, its somewhere in the huge pile of dumb outsite the city! ;) Hey, how about Xenogears! Now that was a BADA$ game!

i dislike the newer ff's because the more you level up, the harder the bosses get, this totally ruins the whole point of me spending five hours in a forest defeating creatures to beat a monster in a genie lamp ala FF8.

ffx is the best for me. I love the story line, and the way they brought back the summoned monsters :) great graphics

I liked FF7 and FF9. I also liked FF1, FF3 (JP), and FF5 (JP). Haven't played FF4 (FF2 in US) or FF6 (FF3 in US) very much, but those were pretty good, too.

FF7 ruled... Beat it 3x... The third time took me like 80hours, got alll the materia, and the golden chocobo. Got rid of my playstation and bout it for PC cause I missed it. FF8 was to short, it took me half the time to beat it compared to FF7. FF8 had tht stupid love song (game spoiler)... FFX was WAY WAY WAY too short, 10hours to beat at most.....

FF6 (JP) or FF3 (US) is my favorite. I dug the storyline. The newer ones were ok, although I didn't like FF8 though because of the junction system. It was easy to make your characters super powerful. But yeah, there wasn't a final fantasy that I did not like (so far anyway). I'd also have to drop a vote for Chrono Trigger ( I know it's not FF), I really loved that game, and it's one of my favorite Square games of all time...

i wish i could turn back time and go there when i got ff7
