First the dumb question:
The circular grill on the back of my PC is 80mm in diameter.
Is that how 80mm fans are measured?
Also, the front grill has cutouts for 2 fans, but it's covered by the plastic front of the case where the power and reset buttons are.
There's no cutouts on the plastic front to access those grills.
So for intake I was thinking of using an empty 5.25 bay and installing on of those triple fans hard drive coolers - minus the hard drive. Alternatively if there's drive bay coolers for 3.5 drive bays then I would consider that too as those bays sit lower on my case. I have a front USB connector adapter for a 5.25 bay that includes one small fan which will be sitting in the top 5.25 bay, but that doesn't seem like enough intake.
There's no cutouts on the sides or top of my case.
I was also thinking of getting those fans (1coolpc) that sit horizontally above the PCI cards and blow down in place of the slot fan I have that takes up a PCI slot.
Thanks for any thoughts.
