hi i sold my old pc to a freind a while back, and he has decideded to upgrade. its a old pc its got a qdi legend mobo that goes upto a p2 333mhz(that is also what he has in there) now i know it had pc 100 ram and he has put 133 in it is that ok as it works?if not what ram should he use? also when i plug dvd and cd writer together it registers none ? on there own they are ok and with a cd rom they are ok any ideas please any 1.... thanks

yes the 133 rams works in the 100 rams slots

as for the DVD/CDRW

make sure each of them is set to Master/Slave

Yeah 133 will run okay in there :)

As AG says check the jumpers, also try putting em on seperate IDE channels and dont forget to chgeck your power cabling :)

Do they both work okay individually??

For your configuration, it would be best to put the dvd as the primary slave and the cdrw as the secondary master. i think it's a jumpering problem, if they work separately.
