I was fiddling with a Nvida the other day

Plugged it in messed about with it & in the end sold it

So I'm back with my old card (For a while )

But XP just doesnt seem to like going back to original settings for some reason.

I've tried Restore & it was better but not as it was

If I re install back over the top Might that do the trick?

If its a complete re hash,,,,, format & all that I will just put up with it till my new card arrives

What do you guys think?

You need a new PC. WalMart has some Microtel Lindows units for only $4000 US!

I bet all the kids used to introduce your head to the toilet with a flushing action when you were at school:)

Can't say I blame em :D

just get inside the windows/system folder and delete the ugly Nvidia drivers.

Also, make sure they're not trying to load (MSCONFIG) at startup in any of its forms. You don't need to reinstall, you just need to go HUNTING (season starts soon) ;).
