I recently bought a WingManŽ Cordless RumblePad by Logitech as I like their product line. Does anyone have this? I am having trouble getting started... all sytems go on being recognized and everything, but in the test software for callibration, my controller does nothing. I push anything and everything and nothing happens. I think it is the controller itself. The USB connector has a blinking green light that goes about 3 blinks per second.. about as fast as this smiley: :t

Now the controller itself is confusing me... there are two LED dots on the pad next to the "rumble" and "mode" buttons. Are they supposed to light or anything when you press either button? I'd know if the problem starts with the controller this way... Regardless of software installed or usb hooked up... as long as the batteries were installed properly, wouldn't those lights (if they are lights) illuminate?

Finally, I tried different ways of putting my fresh Duracell AA batteries in the controller as the top battery has no indication of how it is supposed to go. The picture in the instructions is vague too. Does anyone have the correct + and - battery layout?

Any other ideas what the problem may be? I pushed the connect button on the USB connector with each battery configuration too.
Thanks!! -Zillion

AHHH! Please? I could really use the help... maybe I can simplify the question...

As long as batteries are inserted properly, should any LED or lights go on when you push the mode or rumble buttons?

Is there any way to determine life in the game controller on its own (w/o the software or reciever)

as for the Batteries
just try with new Batteries

now to the actual trouble shooting

Does your Game pad list on USB devices?
under DEVICE MANAGER?

if not, then it'll not work
and you'll get no LEDs indicators
