PC RPG's???

I have been REALLY into the the Final Fantasy series on PSX and PS2...I was wondering, is there any PC games that are like that? I just got my new video card and im getting PC games like crazy, I want one to keep me sucked in for awhile haha.
A final fantasy type game...like, Turn Based...not real time. You click attack it attacks, ya know haha...not a cheesy one either...soemthing with a compelling story..
Also, anybody played Kingdom Hearts on PS2? I was quite reluctant to pick this game up, but its made by Squaresoft, so I gave it a shot. Its actually quite interesting...somewhat cheesy in some parts, but it keeps me into the game. "Never know who you are going to meet next." I love that! haha
I'm about 5 hours into the game...probably close to ending the Wonderland World. ANybody know of any gameshark codes? Once I beat this, I'm gonna dominate the game with GS codes and do all the sidequests and everything...

I know you said turn based, but Neverwinter Nights is a kick *** game on the PC... Loads of replay value too.

i think next final fantasy is on PC but if ur lookin for that anime type stuff i dont think pc compares to consoles. PS2 is king for the big blue hair.

An old classic TBS game on PC is Fallout and Fallout2 but if u don't like post nuclear war strategy then its not for you. Most stuff I see nowadays is real time or as in the Baldurs Gate series real time with pausability which you can sorta play like a TBS game.

Fallout and Fallout 2 are fantastic game, but are not in the anime catergory.

And don't bother getting Fallout Tactics, a serious waste of money :(.

30-40 hours eh? took me 26 hours... Good game but the "dungeons" get teduos....

i agree i like Baldus Gate 1 and 2 and all the expansions

but Ice Wind Dale and Never Winter NIghts are not comparable to the original thing :p
