If you want to delete files in Windows Explorer, hold down the "Ctrl" key then click on each file you want to delete; you will end up with a bunch of files highlighted (they do not have to be contiguous). When you hit "Del", they will be deleted en-mass. Fingers 03-06-2001, 06:15 AM In addition to using <ctrl> for selecting individual records, you can select the first record then click the last record in the selection set while holding down <Shift>; this selects everything in between the two records you selected. alondra 03-06-2001, 11:31 AM sorry about not being to clear, many times I want to save information in posts. I paint and save to my docs, what I get is the info, at least twice and a bunch of formating, the trick was, put the curser just at the top of the info, and a couple clicks got rid of every thing above it, same at the bottom of the info. takes quite a while to paint thru it all, think it had to do with the home and end keys. caddemannq this is what I have been doing, but it takes forever to scroll thru it all, this thing was quick.
