Hey thanks for the link.
Now I know that you can add message rules to Outlook Express to stop spams from people you already got spam from and that you blocked but is there some other way to stop spam?? I mean 657!!! Spam-emails!!! That should be criminal!! I say the buck stops HERE!

Good Luck,

I use Hotmail as a permanent e-mail address, and have done so for almost two years. For PERSONAL e-mail, it actually works fine.
First, I READ all my e-mail at the Hotmail site. This reduces the clutter on my hard drive and reduces chances of me getting a virus in my e-mail. I don't open ANY unknown attachments...especially jokes.
I use Outlook Express to SEND my e-mail. Hotmail does have a bug that sometimes shuts down Internet Explorer when I use the REPLY out of the Hotmail site.
First, all the spam is always sitting on the Hotmail server, not on my hard drive. You can quickly run through the delete. But their filters are highly effective! Hotmail starts with about 10 filters. But if you need more, they will give you more.
Make use of their BULK mail filter. Most spam comes as BCC. I have that dumped in the BULK mail box. I quickly scan that box and delete the whole thing.
Also, keep a seperate box for your personal and couple of boxes for spam! Register commercial things to the spam box. It'll help in the sort.
Also, I think the greatest source of spam is probably the e-greeting cards. It shows that your box is live. As many good friends have sent me e-greeting cards, my personal box actually gets more spam than my spam box.

Thanks Rob that certainly helps me getting spam rules from one pc to another.
Also I will try hotmails filters.
