earlier i had a post about trying to update a gf2 pro bios. but after a bad bios flash for my pc (i was lucky) i'm sceptic about the video bios.

i done hundreds of pc bios but none of video.

what do i do if something goes wrong?
what precautions do i take?

Why are you going to do this? Do you have problems?

Every VGA BIOS update I've done has succeeded. A video BIOS is very simple next to a motherboard BIOS. There's not much to screw up! ;)

i talked to nvidia and told them that on my gf2 pro card at startup it goes black 3 times before the wallpaper comes up. then it seems to be fine. they said they've had problems with some gf2 cards - gf2 pro do that. they gave me a site that had a updated bios so i downloaded it. but after my exp. the other day with my pc bios i erie ya know.....
