I personally don't think so. You can get a video card with an Nvidia TNT2 chip and 32 megs ram for a similar price. Go look on pricewatch.com for 32mb video cards...you will be surprised http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

ive got the ati all in wonder 128 which uses the rage 128 3d graphics. i like it, it saves u from buying a dvd decoder. though im not that muchof an intense gamer i hear that its not the best for 3d games but it'll still work. i use it on quake w/ no prob. im think bout getting the all in wonder radeon and maybe you should consider getting just the radeon card too instead but all the luck to ya.

Im not into gaming THAT much, just a few hours a week maybe. It HAS to be better than what I got now(2X AGP Savage 4 16MB)!

It'll be much better than your Savage.

I agree with Soopa on the price. GeForce2 cards are dirt cheap now and do some hardware accelleration of DVD. A 64mb Radeon VIVO is running about $200 after rebates at many places, including CompUSA and either OfficeMax or Office Depot (I don't remember which).

Check out the PC Steals and Deals list for cheap video cards.

If your looking for high performance in 3D gaming applications go with the GE Force 2 cards. But if you just want decent all around performance at an affordable price, the ATI Xpert 2000 at $55 is a safe bet.

agreeing with Nighthawk and ragtop, I'd heartily recommend a GeForce2Mx based card.(Asus V7100 has good reviews)

If you are into DVD stuff, ATI is the way to go, since their DVD performance and decoding is excellent. For gaming, I would rather get a TNT2 chip at least, why not save up a few money and spend it on a GeForce2 MX?? Put if you want DVD + performance.. get the RadeonLE and enable the HyperZ using registry hack, and overclock it to a normal Radeon default speeds, and it should be an excellent card.

Also you might want to think about getting a card that supports TV-In/-Out since this is a nice feature to have and lots of cards have it nowadays! And it is very nice to have TV-Out when you have a DVD-drive!!!

What Video card has TV out for less than 120.00? Im confused now also... I am looking at (I think) TWO Ati Radeons, the 32MB DDR, and the Radeon LE. What is the difference?

check out pricewatch and do a search for "video card TV-Out" i found hundreds or thousands!! starting at 26$!!
Almost all have it now! Tv-In is more rare.
