System:

OS: Win ME
RAM: 256MB
TV Card: Hauppauge WINTV2K V3.31 PVR
Sound Card: Creative Vibra 128
Graphic Card: Asus GForce 2 V7100Pro SE MX400 (64MB)
Processor: Celeron 1.1 Gig

Problem:

How you guy solve the problem of using one BIOS PCI Latency Timer to use Creative Vibra 128 sound card and Graphic Card Asus GForce 2 V7100 ?

Currently I have to alternately sets to 10 for using TV or 128 for viewing/listening to Video/MPEG/CD.. other than that the PC hangs/locks when using either 'program' with the incorrect setting ... downloaded the latest driver for the cards but problem persist...

Beside that, at PCI latency timer=10 will disables menu based restart and auto shut down ... it instead requires manually pressing the reset and 'pressing momentary' power off button ...

Thank you.........

Thanks...

No .. there no 'Auto' choice ...
I tried again setting the PCI to zero(0) ... as suggested on the links given...

I am using ALi Chipset on ASUS TUA266 Motherboard ...
What is screwed by the way ???

It work except that it inconvenience to reset alternatively
the PCI Latency Timer everytime choosing which program to run...
and disabling the restart and Auto Shut Off function on PCI LT=10..

Any other suggestion

Thank you..
