hi folks...
atm i have an amd k6-2 400 on a asus p5a mobo
with a voodoo banshee
i decided to upgrade to a asus k7v133 mobo and a tbird/duron 800
i also decided to get a new 3d card... maybe voodoo 5 5500 or geforce2 gts...
i heared that some of these cards (especially the v5) don't run stable on systems with less than 250w powersupply... should i also get a bigger supply (maybe 300w?)

thanks!

To be on the safe side, always go with at least 300w. GeForce2 GTS consume about 8W, and it would depend on what processor you use as well. Since Duron use much less power than the T-bird, probably nearly 1/2 the power of T-bird (i think! due to the L2 cache size or something like that). Upgrading your 3D card, I would recommend the Geforce2 gts over the V5, faster and worth the money and has support etc.
