CL GF4 Ti4600 and TV Out

Any one had the TV out working on a Creative Labs Ti4600? I have tried pretty much anything, new drivers, old drivers, reference drivers, creative drivers. But still no luck.

I emailed creative and they replied:

Try booting up with only the TV connected to the card, just to see if
that works.

If you have tried different drivers and they do not work, then try an
older driver.


Please try the 27_42 drivers and/or the 21_85 drivers as these
definitely work in cases where there may be difficulty with TV out

I have already tried booting with cable in, but I can't say 100% that I actually tried these particular versions, I dod try some that were supose to work with TVOut.

But aren't drivers like the new 40.41 better than all the rest? Usind these drivers: 27_41 or even 21_85, am i going to get a performance hit?

You'd better follow techs' instructions. They're getting paid for what they doing.
Or try TVTool (www.tvtool.de) :)

Besides, v40.41 are THE drivers with many NEW problems with TV-Out :rolleyes:

Never thought about TVTool. I downloaded it about 2 months ago, but it didn't support GF4, I take it it does now?

They also have a link on their site for the 40.41 drivers and an updated nv4_disp.inf file, so I might be in luck.

Thanks again ND, however company techs do get paid but they dont really know what they're getting paid for :D
